Hey, everyone!

We're happy to announce that this year, traditionally, the LaviYu Day is going to take place on July 8th, starting as soon as the 8th starts somewhere in the world, and ending once it's no longer 8th anywhere - just so that the timezones aren't a problem. ;)

As always, this means that during this day we show our appreciation for the pairing in any way we like and can - post fanfiction, fanarts, cosplay, finger puppets, videos, anything and everything that you can think of; the only requirement is - it must be LaviYu. <3

We do not have a contest planned, however we think it would be awesome if everyone who participated would receive and icon or a banner as a reminder of this year's Fest. ;) If there's someone decent with graphics that would like to make it, please let us know!

So ermh, yes. I think I promised someone some time ago to post some Lavi and Kanda pictures of recent cosplay me and my friend did. I'm giving you two pics. One normal, and one pairing.

Mind you, before this convention I had never cosplayed DGM before. And here I cosplayed both Allen and Kanda. Let's not tell anyone I did Kanda solely for the reason that I could use my own hair, my closet had everything I needed and my friend loves Kanda, ok? :') And my cosplay is by no means as good as hers.



Nevertheless, I think we managed to be pretty cute. I like this picture a lot, and to me, especially as a writer, it portrays how I see their relationship.

Are you still out there? I sure hope so! <3 Better later than never, I bring you an announcement post for the LaviYu Fest 2012. As all the things fandom-y seems to have slowed down considerably this year, we decided that it would be best to return to the one-day policy, which means that our lovely celebration will simply take place on July 8th.

An official outline for this year's day-fest will be announced sometime after mid-May, and until then, we're welcoming all of your suggestions and ideas here or at the post in the HQ. If you'd like a contest, participant badges, fest theme or something else, make sure to let us know. Let's make the best of this year! ;)
